Dr. Ashima R Chandran is a distinguished dermatologist whose academic journey is marked by a rare and consistent streak of excellence. She earned her MBBS from Kerala University of Health Sciences, where she stood first in her university and was awarded the gold medal — an honour reserved for the single highest-performing student across the entire batch.
Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Dr. Ashima pursued her MD in Dermatology from Telangana University of Health Sciences. Once again, she secured first rank across the university and received the gold medal — a remarkable achievement that placed her among the very few doctors in India to achieve this at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Dr. Ashima's contributions to dermatology earned her an invitation to the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) Annual Conference held in Manchester, UK — one of the most prestigious dermatology conferences in the world.
